Application Software Installation

Application software are programs that perform useful work for you, and are housed within an operating system.  These include, but are certainly not limited to, products such as Microsoft Office (a suite of several applications), financial software such as Quicken, etc.

This option will get your application correctly installed, or re-installed, on your computer according to the manufacturer's recommendations, using their installation media or downloaded from their website.  While most installations are becoming more standard in form, we nevertheless check each installation for details that may apply to your particular system.  This helps ensure that your application runs as reliably as possible.
